Course Outline: This work permit course package covers the skills and knowledge required to work in accordance with an issued permit, monitor a work situation in which the activity is conducted under a permit to work, as well as to undertake the safety observer role for permits requiring an electrical safety observer Work Permit Course Package Includes: - MSMPER200 Work in accordance with an issued permit - MSMPER201 Monitor and control work permits - MSMPER202 Observe permit work Permit Training Course Content: - Legislative requirements - Identify permit requirements - Industry codes of practice and standards - Read and interpret the safety and hazard control requirements of permit conditions - Prepare a rescue/incident response plan in accordance with procedures - Isolation's and lockout/tag out procedures - The role of a 'safety observer', 'hole watcher', or 'fire watcher' Course Outline: This work permit training program package covers the skills and knowledge required to work in accordance with an issued permit, monitor a work situation in which the activity is conducted under a permit to work and to undertake the safety observer role for permits requiring a safety observer.
