Test and Tag Course Outline:

This test and tag course covers safety testing of electrical cord connected equipment and cord assemblies. It encompasses working safely, using portable apparatus testers, identifying faults, applying tagging, arranging for repair of faulty equipment and complete testing documentation


Test and Tag Course Includes:

UEERL0003 - Conduct in-service testing of electrical cord connected equipment and cord assemblies

UEECD0007 - Apply work health and safety regulations, codes and practices in the workplace.


Electrical Test and Tag Course Content:
  • Basic electrical principles

  • Australian Standards (AS/NZS 3760)

  • Work Health & Safety legislative requirements

  • Risk Management documentation, implementation and controls

  • Visual inspections

  • Portable Appliance Tester (PAT)

  • Testing Portable Electrical Equipment
